I love Pinterest and if you follow me there you know I have a board dedicated to Gift wrapping as well as one called Christmas / New Year. The first idea on how to wrap a Christmas gift is simple, easy to do and it’s simply beautiful! You’ll need plain brown kraft paper, some Christmas trees branches, candy canes and some twine. You can also write (or print) something you like (like Merry Christmas for example) on this paper or add a personal note.

The second idea on how to wrap a Christmas gift is this polka dot DIY Christmas gift wrap. As you can see from the photo below it’s easy to do and all you need is simple craft paper (any colour, but it looks beautiful when it’s brown or white), pencil and some colour. Instead of roses put a Christmas tree branch on top of the gift or take a pinecone and glue it on top.

Another great idea on how to wrap a Christmas gift is here. Even though these Christmas gifts are wrapped in plain kraft paper (yes, again!) this ribbon and these bows are giving them all the elegance they need.

If you want to make someone smile, make Christmas gift wrapping personal! Here is a great idea on how to do that. You can use any gift wrapping paper you want for this one, but I recommend using a monochrome coloured paper. The only thing you’ll need is a photo of someone or somewhere special and some tape. How beautiful is this?

Things you can add to any wrapped gift are dry oranges, small branches, pinecones, cinnamon stick or a candy cane. These will make your Christmas gift wrapping more festive and beautiful. One thing I love adding to Christmas gift wrapping is chocolate. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like chocolate so this little detail makes a big difference when talking about Christmas gift wrapping. It looks pretty nice if you ask me!
You bought a Christmas gift that doesn’t fit in a box or you simply don’t have a box where you’d put that gift in. No worries! Make a lovely paper bag and decorate it the way you want. Here’s an idea on how you can do it! Your presents will look as elegant as any other. What do you think?

If you are creative and love making something unique that people will remember, here are a few ideas on how to surprise them with your Christmas gift wrapping art!
Wrap (or I better say put) the Christmas gift in a big jar. It looks nice and it’s creative. It’s also a nice way to show someone you care by putting a bit of your time into Christmas gift wrapping. It’s not for big Christmas gifts, but it’s just perfect for smaller ones.

Draw something, take out that washi tape or write a personal message on your Christmas gift wrapping. Just look at what you can do with a potato! People will appreciate your effort!
